Victims of recent floods in Holland got more help yesterday when the
Indonesian Ambassador, Dr. Ali Sastroamidjojo, center, wrote a check
for $100 at the Holland Relief booth at the Shoreham Hotel. Mrs. I*
Polak, right, wife of the scientific attache of the Netherlands Embassy,
watched the signing. SHY models like Julia Shadel, second from left,
have been operating booths for Holland Relief In Washington hotels
since Saturday. Actress Audrey Hepburn, left, star of "Gigi," also
helped. President of B'nai B'rith, Frank Golman, presented a check
for $10,000 to A. H. Van Roijen, Netherlands Ambassador, for relief
at a ceremony at Washington Airport. CBS announced collection of
over 200,000 pounds of clothing after a nation-wide appeal. B'nai B'rith
also presented checks for $5000 to aid relief work in Great Britain
and Belgium.
