rEXPRESSION OP SYMPATHY FOR
PEOPLE OP THE NETHERLANDS
IN THEIR RECENT FLOOD AND
STORM DISASTER INDEFINITE
POSTPONEMENT OP CONCURRENT
RESOLUTION
Mr. KENNEDY. Mr. President, I ask
unanimous consent that the concurrent
resolution (S. Con. Res. 9), submitted by
me on February 10, 1953, expressing sym
pathy for the people of the Netherlands
in their recent flood and storm disaster,
be indefinitely postponed, because Sen
ate Concurrent Resolution 12 has now
been adopted by the Senate and the
House and has taken care of the problem.
I believe this request will help to clear
the Senate Calendar.
The ACTING PRESIDENT pro tem-
Ipore. Is there objection to the request
of the Senator from Massachusetts? The
Chair hears none, and it is so ordered.
