Vroon is an international shipping company with a
fleet of about 160 vessels and approximately 4,000
seafarers. In addition, the company currently has
around 35 newbuilding vessels on order. With its
Business Support Centre based .in Breskens, the
Netherlands, Vroon has offices in Barendrecht,
Terneuzen, Den Helder, Aberdeen, Stokesley,
Genova, Singapore and Manila. Vroon has about
350 shore-based employees.
At Vroon's Business Support Centre approximately 100 staff support the shipping activities.
Areas of expertise include chartering, operations, ship management and newbuilding project
management, plus the provision of QA, HSE, ICT, accounting, treasury, legal, human resources
and administrative support.
