komt zelf uit de streek en herin
nert zich nog hoe hij in zijn jonge
jaren ging helpen bij de oogst. Het
was een rijk en vruchtbaar gebied,
waar in de zomer de combines in
lange rijen over het land reden om
het graan binnen te halen.
Nu is er niets meer. Het gebied is
verwaarloosd en vergeten. Veel be
jaarden wonen in piepkleine dorp
jes waar het kan gebeuren dat men
sen 's winters doodvriezen, omdat
niemand de moeite neemt de we
gen begaanbaar te houden. Maar
Andrej Schkolni maakt er melding
van en daarom houden de men
sen van Nasza Gazeta.
