concurrentie. „Ik ben niet van de
competitie. Dat was ik vroeger al
niet toen ik bij het RTL-nieuws
werkte, het interesseerde mij niet
hoe de NOS het destijds deed. Als
je iets met hart en ziel doet, maar
de kijker vindt de ander toch leu
ker, dan is dat maar zo. We gaan
in ieder geval geen extra bokken
sprongen maken." Niettemin is
het wel een programma op een
commerciële zender, dus de kijkcij
fers zijn wel degelijk van belang.
„Er is onderzoek naar onze kijkcij
fers gedaan over de eerste veertig
afleveringen. De doelgroep kijkt,
het marktaandeel is in orde, dus ie
dereen is blij en tevreden. Dan ga
ik me er toch niet druk om ma
ken?"
