Het plan voor de muzikale serie
werd bedacht in de auto, samen
met Dulfers jeugdvriendin Nada
van Nie. „Ik wilde altijd al een pro
gramma maken over geweldige ar
tiesten die niet in de hitlijsten
staan en daardoor misschien min
der bekend zijn."
De muziekprogramma's van tegen
woordig, zegt Dulfer, gaan meestal
óf alle clichés af, óf er wordt gepro
beerd in een gesprek van drie uur
de hele ziel en zaligheid van een ar
tiest naar boven te halen. „Ik Wil
gewoon op een leuke manier to
nen hoe deze mensen zijn die al
hun hele leven in de muziek zit
ten, hun passie laten zien. En om
dat ik zelf artiest ben, kom je snel
ler tot elkaar."
