Maar wie verwacht dat Margriet
na deze zware jaren thema's als
ziekte en dood mijdt, komt bedro
gen uit. Sinds januari is de Friezin
zelf het gezicht van Tot de dood ons
scheidt. Als gastvrouw ontvangt ze
nieuwe hoofdpersonen van het
programma, en ze doet de voice-
over. „Er is een klik ontstaan tus
sen mij en de EO. Ik had geen be
denktijd nodig voor hun aanbod.
Ik haal positieve kracht uit dit pro
gramma. Ik vind het iets moeilij
ker als het om mensen gaat met
een hersentumor. Dan zeg ik hen:
'Ik vind het oneerlijk verdeeld in
de wereld. Mijn man en ik hebben
het overleefd terwijl u misschien
doodgaat'. Maar mogelijk geeft ons
verhaal hen toch moed."
