ben geen showman, en een fana
tiek sporter ben ik ook nooit ge
weest. Maar zeg nou zelf: een beet
je kerel moet kunnen dansen.
Ik krijg nu een spoedcursus van
Charissa. Sterker nog: zij moet mij
zelfs uitleggen hoe ik een man
moet zijn. De mannen onder de
BN-ers hebben het op de dans
vloer moeilijker dan de vrouwen,
als man moet je namelijk ook nog
eens leiden."
Hoekstra is fysiek sterk en heeft
een positieve instelling, zegt dans
partner Van Dipte. Dat buit het
koppel uit met een paar spectacu
laire 'gooien', waarbij de dame
zich bijna letterlijk aan de voeten
werpt van haar partner. „Verder is
Lodewijk lekker eigenwijs, hij wil
bij elk pasje precies weten wat de
bedoeling is." „Als je die pasjes
een paar honderd keer hebt ge
daan, zit dat er wel in", beaamt
Hoekstra.
„Eén van mijn zwakkere punten is
mijn houding", vervolgt hij. „Je
neemt nu eenmaal een heel ande
re pose aan als je een boom om
zaagt." Charissa van Dipte: „En tij
dens de rumba mogen de heupen
nog wel ietsje losser." Hoekstra:
„Mijn vriendin zei laatst ook al: je
