zaken bedacht. Zo werd de show
een keer per seizoen live uitgezon
den. Vanwege de verschillende tijd
zones in Amerika moesten de ac
teurs daarvoor de aflevering vier
keer spelen. Ook werd de serie een
keer op internet uitgezonden. In
het huidige digitale tijdperk klinkt
dat misschien niet zo bijzonder,
maar The Drew Carey Show was
wel de eerste. Eens per seizoen
werden verder zoveel mogelijk fou
ten in een aflevering gestopt. Wie
de langste lijst doorbelde, won een
prijs.
