heeft 'Go' gecomponeerd samen
met George Hammilton, die
eveneens nauw betrokken is bij
shows voor de Efteling. De mei
den van Trinity maken deel uit
van de theatercast in de huidige
winter-Efteling.

„Mijn zakelijke partner Pedro
kwam met deze naam die ver
wijst naar de magische driehoek
van liefde. Maar ik vond het wel
leuk. Toen ik destijds aan de bar
bij Trinity hing, kon ik niet ver
moeden later nog eens teksten
te zullen schrijven en compone
ren voor een groep met diezelf
de naam."
Rijstenbil zegt met 'Go' behoor
lijk af te wijken van de voorspel
bare songfestivaldeuntjes. „Het
begin klinkt als een ballad. Dan
komt er ook naar verwachting
een tempoversnelling, maar
waar je de modulatie verwacht
zoals in veel songfestivalnum
mers, hebben wij er een theater-
element in aangebracht." Hij
doelt daarmee op een kort stuk
je gesproken tekst waarin het
publiek wordt uitgenodigd tot
interactie.
De meiden van Trinity vragen
zich in 'Go' af wie het gaat wor
den. Wie hun dat speciale ge
voel zal geven dat zij de meest
aantrekkelijke wouwen zijn; of
ze worden uitverkoren. Óf ze
dat in het Nationale Songfesti
val inderdaad worden, blijkt
pas in de finale op zondag 13 fe
bruari. Daar gaan vier voorron
den aan vooraf met elk zes lied
jes, waarbij er steeds drie door
gaan naar die finale.

'Go'.

nale sturen, de jury een. In de fi
nale heeft het publiek de helft
van de stemmen, de andere helft
komt van de driekoppige jury,
een panel van Radio 2-luiste-
raars en een jury van in Neder
land wonende buitenlanders.

RETRANCHEMENT - Misdaadverslaggever Peter R. de
Vries besteedt vanavond in zijn televisieprogramma aan
dacht aan de gijzeling van en de poging tot overval op de
59-jarige Francine van Assel uit Retranchement.
Van Assel werd in september anderhalf uur lang gegijzeld
door een man die haar bedreigde met een mes en haar dwong
hem met de auto naar Aardenburg te brengen. In Aarden
burg wist de man zich uit de voeten te maken.
Nog geen maand later stond dezelfde man opnieuw bij de
vrouw op de stoep. Hij maakte duidelijk dat hij uit was op
haar juwelen, maar slaagde er niet in binnen te dringen in
haar woning. Van Assel belde het alarmnummer, waarna de
politie de man in Sluis arresteerde. Het Openbaar Ministerie
oordeelde drie dagen later echter dat er onvoldoende gron
den waren hem nog langer vast te houden waarop de man
werd vrijgelaten.

AMSTERDAM - Muziekzender TMF gaat vanaf 3 januari de
Haagse popband Di-rect volgen. Jamie, Spike, Bas en Tim
zijn zes weken lang drie keer per week op TMF te zien. De
band wil zo zijn nieuwe album op opvallende wijze aankondi
gen. Dat heeft Link Media BV, dat het reallifeprogramma
produceert, gisteren bekendgemaakt. Di-rect werkt momen
teel aan de opname van het nieuwe album All systems go dat
op 18 februari uitkomt. Die opnames zijn te zien in het pro
gramma Live Di-rect bij TMF, op internet en via de mobie
le telefoon. Vanaf 21 januari ligt de nieuwe single 'Hungry

HILVERSUM - De Gouden Loeki 2004 voor de leukste televi
siereclame bij de publieke omroep is gisteravond gewonnen
door het filmpje De leeuw, waarin een gezin na een bezoekje
aan een safaripark per ongeluk een leeuw mee naar huis
neemt op het dak van de auto. De spot is gemaakt door het
reclamebureau DDB Amsterdam. Winnaar van de Top 40 Al
ler Tijden werd de reclame met een olifant voor het snoep
