Rotating Equipment
Technicians:
Several years experience of
diagnosing and solving complex
maintenance problems and carrying
out maintenance work on rotating
equipment including steam and gas
turbines, centrifugal pumps,
compressors and forced draft fans.
Electricians:
Able to instal or repair heavy
electrical equipment, wiring, control
and instrumentation. At least
5 years experience.
General Mechanics:
Must be able to instal and
carry out all maintenance on plant
including turbines, pumps, valves,
compressors, refrigeration, plant,
mobile equipment such as vehicles,
cranes etc.
Pipefitters:
Applicants must be fully
experienced in industrial pipefitting
and welding including all types of
large diameter pipework screwed,
flanged and welded.
JWAAM:
Instrument Technicians:
Applicants should have at
least 5 years experience with
Foxboro, Beekman and Fisher
products, Electronic Transmitters,
Controllers, Integrators, Converters,
pH, CO 2 and Chromatograph
Analysers. A background in
general process automation is
essential.
Communications
Technicians:
Several years experience In the
following duties with special
emphasis on electronic
instrumentation:
Installation and maintenance of
power line carrier supervisory
circuits for metering and control of
power and pipeline systems.
Maintenance of electronic controls,
counters and instruments of these
systems. Installation and
maintenance of H.F. and V.H.F.
radio equipment and dial telephone
systems.
Process Shift Supervisors:
Duties are to head a group of
plant operators on shift and to be
responsible for the proper
operation of a section of the plant.
Candidates should have a minimum
of 5 years experience in all phases
of process industry, including at
least 3 years as a senior or lead
operator.
Appointments to most of these
positions will be on a bachelor
status basis and married employees
accepting these positions may return
to their home countries at company
expense for 18 days after each
55 days in Libya. Favorable salary
and attractive allowances. Married
quarters wijl be available for a
limited number of the more senior
positions. In these cases, annual
vacation entitlement is 4 weeks.
