Congressional District Convention.
A Democratic Congressional District Coarention, for
the Third Congressional District, will be hold at Waupun
on U'ednesdav the 15th day of September next at 12
o'clock, M. The Democratic Electors of the General
Assembly Districts will be represented by one Delegate
rich. And for the purpose of equalizing representation,
it is recommended that the delegates thus chosen for each
Senatorial District also appoint one Delegate to represent
such Senatorial District in the Congressional Conven

PIERCE KING CLUB.
Saturday night las£ the roar of the cannon and
a bonfire it: front of the Court House announ
ced to the Democrats of Sheboygan that the hour
had arrived on which they were to assemble for
organizing a Pierce King club. The meeting
was intended by several staunch Democrats from
nil parts of the County, as well as by many of
those residing in this village.
After stating the object of the meeting, and
after a committee was appointed to draft resolu
tions and to procure a room where the weekly
meetings will be held, some excellent speeches
were delivered, amongst which those of Messrs.
Hubxrt, Ex-Lieut Gov. Bball and Fox Cook
were received with great applauding. The best
spirit and the greatest harmony prevailed, whilst
many gave the assurance that the cause of De
mocracy never looked belter in Sheboygan Coun
ty, and that not a usual,but an overwhelming ma
jority would be given for PIERCE KING in
November next.
A resolution was adopted to meet every Wed
nesday evening from now until election time, and
to hold a County Mass Meeting on some day in
September next, which day will be fixed by the
com mil We and announced in due season.
jCiT All indications are. that Franklin Pierce
will be the Fourteenth President of the United
States. Even the initials of his name show this

gekeurd heeft de benoeming van Dr. L.C. E-Schcmi.zr,
te ilartlnnd, Waukesha Co. Wis., als waam -mend. Con
sul der Nederlanden, voor den Staat Wisconsin. Allo
zaken betreirende dit Consulaat moeten voortaan aan
genoemden Heer gerigt worden.

De ondergeteekende heeft pas een consiernement van
3000 dollars waarde aan MANUFACTUREN ontvin
gen, welko bij bij het stuk tegen Chicago prijzen in
't groot en in 'i klein 25 pCt lager verkoopen wil dan
dezelve in eenige andere winkel te Sheboygan kunnen
gekocht worden.
De goederen zijn alle nieuw en in goeden staat, be
staande geheel cn al uil zulke hoofdartikelen, als ieder
huisgezin verlangt te koopen.
Ook heb ik met ccn huis in New-York arrangemen
ten gemaakt, om beslendiglijk voorzien te worden van
