Saturday night las£ the roar of the cannon and a bonfire it: front of the Court House announ ced to the Democrats of Sheboygan that the hour had arrived on which they were to assemble for organizing a Pierce King club. The meeting was intended by several staunch Democrats from nil parts of the County, as well as by many of those residing in this village. After stating the object of the meeting, and after a committee was appointed to draft resolu tions and to procure a room where the weekly meetings will be held, some excellent speeches were delivered, amongst which those of Messrs. Hubxrt, Ex-Lieut Gov. Bball and Fox Cook were received with great applauding. The best spirit and the greatest harmony prevailed, whilst many gave the assurance that the cause of De mocracy never looked belter in Sheboygan Coun ty, and that not a usual,but an overwhelming ma jority would be given for PIERCE KING in November next.
