de finale van Holland's got talent
en ook nog een half miljoen naar
Popstars op SBS 6. Tegelijkertijd be
jubelt hij presentator Martijn Krab
bé en draagt hij hem maar direct
voor de Televizier-Ster voor.
De coaches werden persoonlijk
aangesteld door John de Mol.
Jeroen van der Boom vond het
naar eigen zeggen een grote eer
dat hij door hem is benaderd. Hij
moest er wel even wat ruimte in
zijn agenda voor maken, maar wie
zegt er nu nee tegen De Mol? Op
de vraag of hij niet bang is zijn ei
gen toekomstige concurrent op te
leiden, verschijnt er een glimlach.
„Er is ruimte genoeg voor arties
ten in Nederland. Ik ben 38 en heb
net een nieuw platencontract gete
kend. Ik heb het zo druk, over zes
jaar ben ik er waarschijnlijk wel
klaar mee."
Collegacoach Angela Groothuizen
realiseert zich plots dat ze voor het
eerst nerveus is voor de shows, zo
graag wil ze dat het een succes
wordt. „Het niveau ligt zo hoog,
het is echt een eer dat ik een aan
tal van hen mag begeleiden." Dat
de coaches in het eindtraject sa
men met hun talenten gaan optre
den, ziet ze ook wel zitten, ook al
werkt een van haar stembanden
niet meer. Lachend: „Maar ik weet
volgens mij nog wel hoe ik moet
zingen."
