Vroon is a dynamic and ambitious
international shipping company, currently
operating a fleet of over H0 vessels.
Vroon employs approximately 3,800
seagoing staff and 250 shore-based
personnel. The company currently has a
newbuilding programme for 40 vessels, on
order for delivery between 2010 and 2012.

The head office is located in Breskens,
where Vroon B.V. has a facility centre with
60 employees providing ICT, financial, legal,
personnel and administrative support to all
management companies. In addition,
Vroon B.V. has 30 employees who directly
support the shipping activities, including
chartering, operations, ship management,
QHSE and newbuilding.

Finance and Accounting Department:
Business Process Analyst (1FTE)
The Business Process Analyst works closely with all departments to
ensure that all financial processes are properly identified, standardised and
documented across the organisation. You actively review financial policies
and procedures to enhance utilisation, spot opportunities for improvement
and share best practices. Furthermore, you coordinate change requests
and are responsible for the deployment of financial processes in cooperation
with business process owners and business application analysts.
Function requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Economics/Finance or equivalent;
five years' working experience in a dynamic financial environment;
analytical and process design skills;
experience in an international au^it firm would be an advantage.
Supervisor Group Accounting (1FTE)
The Supervisor Group Accounting is responsible for monitoring all day-to-
day accounting functions, including GL, AR, PR and AP for all Dutch entities.
You are responsible for the monthly end closure, including delivery of
comprehensive financial reports. You lead, develop and motivate the team,
ensuring continuous professional development.
Function requirements:
Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field;
ten years' working experience in a complex accounting environment;
solid supervisory experience;
ambition to drive the effective use of resources to meet department goals;
experience in an international matrix structure would be an advantage.

ICT Department:
Business Application Analyst B1 Reporting (1 FTE]
The Business Application Analyst Bl Reporting optimises, deploys and
supports Vroon's Bl Reporting solutions. The rapid growth of the business
and the related reporting requirements mean you are involved in enhancing
existing reporting systems and identifying opportunities for improvement. You
identify reporting requirements, together with the business process owners,
with the objective of transforming data into management information.
Furthermore, you are responsible for company-wide management of data
models and for ensuring data integrity. In addition, you design and manage
development of reporting solutions based on specified requirements.
Function requirements:
Bachelor's degree in ICT;
five years' relevant experience in an equivalent position;
extensive experience in designing, implementing and managing Bl and
Reporting solutions;
knowledge of accounting principles and financial reports;
extensive knowledge of Data Warehouse, cubes and reporting techniques;
knowledge of SQL Server (SSIS and SSAS] and Targit Bl Suite would be an
advantage;
experience in ITIL Service Management, Project Management techniques
and processes.
