's Avonds is Scheringa vrijwel al
tijd 'met eten' thuis, gaat na de
avondmaaltijd nog even het wei
land in om te kijken of het met de
dieren goed is en is de rest van de
avond 'gewoon thuis'. „Mensen
denken wel eens, die zal wel iede
re avond weg zijn. Niks hoor".
Een uitzondering maakt Scheringa
voor de kaartclub. Drie vrienden
van vroeger vormen met Dirk het
kwartet dat wekelijks een kaartje
legt, al dertig jaar lang.
