Mina over hun huwelijk: „Het was
geen liefdesrelatie, het was een
functioneel iets." Ze bleven al die
54 jaar bij elkaar, zo moet je con
cluderen, om de kinderen.
Eén ding staat voor Doug wel vast:
het feit dat zijn vader op hoge leef
tijd toch nog de ware liefde heeft
gevonden, is een optimistische
boodschap.
