baan is nooit iets geweest dat ik
plande of voorzag. Maar nadat ik
in 2003 stopte met voetballen, was
het goed iets om handen te heb
ben. Ik ging er dus mee door, met
het idee dat ik ooit terug zou ke
ren in het voetbal. Dat idee heb ik
inmiddels losgelaten. Ik ben gegre
pen door televisie en het loopt. De
kansen kwamen langs, ik greep ze.
Hier ben ik nu, presentator. Het
was wel wennen een programma
te maken dat om mij draaide. Ik
had weinig ervaring. Voor de eer
ste aflevering schoten we kilome
ters tape vol. Ik leerde gelukkig
snel. De overige vijf afleveringen
zijn we wat economischer omge
gaan met onze tijd en tapes."
