het eerste seizoen te stoppen. Ver
velend voor de fans, want de serie
eindigt in de laatste aflevering met
een 'diffhanger', bedoeld als op
stapje naar het tweede seizoen,
dat er dus niet is gekomen.
Met een petitie op internet, geti
teld 'Save Surface on NBC', probe
ren trouwe kijkers de zender al
maandenlang over te halen tot het
produceren van een nieuwe reeks.
Een vervolg staat echter (nog) niet
op stapel. Ook de Nederlandse kij
ker blijft dus na aflevering vijftien
met vragen zitten.
