is niet te danken aan de retro
vormgeving. De geest van de jaren
zeventig komt vooral tot leven in
de genuanceerde kijk op de Moluk
se treinkapers.
Als je Wijster bekijkt tegen de ach
tergrond van de huidige hysterie
rond de thema's veiligheid en ter
rorismebestrijding mag je de ver-
zoenlijke toon van de film tegen
draads noemen. Dat kun je helaas
niet zeggen van de dialogen, die
soms wat al te veel worden uitge
legd. Desondanks is Wijster een be
langwekkende film. Eigenlijk is
het vreemd dat de eerste treinka
ping in de geschiedenis pas drie de
cennia later gedramatiseerd is. En
dan nemen we een beetje filmi
sche braafheid graag voor lief
