gon haar loopbaan in een garage
met slechts twee naaimachines, in
middels is haar bedrijf uitgegroeid
tot 150 werknemers. „Ik heb de
mode-industrie nieuw leven inge
blazen. Toen ik de mode inging be
stond ontwerpen niet meer, nu zit
op elke straathoek een naaiatelier
en word ik overal nagemaakt."
Met haar succes probeert ze ande
ren te helpen. In haar geboorte
dorp financierde ze het werk van
een kraamkliniek waar vrouwen
gratis zorg krijgen bij hun beval
ling. „Je moet mensen helpen. Ik
ben ook met niets begonnen en
heb hulp gehad. Nu doe ik iets te
rug."
