kwam in Middelburg, hadden we
een rare Piet die de stoomboot
had gemist. Met het grote boek on
der zijn arm werd deze Piet per le-
gerhelikopter in het centrum van
de stad afgezet. Voor ons een hele
operatie maar het maakt de uitzen
ding wel levendiger. Dat zien we
ook aan de kijkcijfers die de laatste
jaren duidelijk zijn gestegen."
Wanneer is voor de eindredacteur
de intocht geslaagd? „Als we niet
te ver uitlopen op schema, wat bij
een live-uitzending best lastig is
natuurlijk. Voor de intocht op tv
staat een uur en een kwartier. Vo
rig jaar liepen we maar achttien se
conden uit. Dan ben ik stiekem
best trots."
